Description
The Chieftain Dropside Rail Trailer features a 5m or 6m platform with 600mm high drop-down doors, providing flexible access for loading and unloading materials on track. Approved to RIS 1530 Issue 6 (UK), DB netz (Germany), and I-PLM-5001 (Ireland), it runs on twin 12-tonne axles with 550mm P1 profile steel rail wheels and is equipped with two-line air brakes, solar-powered 12V lighting, and chequer plate flooring. The trailer is shot-blasted and finished in two-pack primer and paint for long-lasting corrosion resistance.
